Pickled food fucking rocks. A while ago Byron and I agreed to each pay half for a pickled egg, just to try one. It was actually really good. I've since found the joy of pickled vegis, and most importantly pickled garlic. OMG, Nici just bought me a jar of pickled garlic and it's so fucking good. I'm gonna smell like garlic, cuz I can't stop eating em!

I have been wondering about that side of food......

I love just about any thing unless I am allergic of course. Other then that I havent found anything I dont really like. I eat all kinds of sushi, cheese, meats, all kinds of types of food, foreign and the like.


KC so this sounds like we need to have a pot luck pickled night some where..... but not so much on the drinking I am guessing. We dont want people puking....

i once was at this work xmas party, we played the game where you can choose a present, or else choose one somebody already unwrapped, and then they have to choose a new one or whatever (can't remember the name of the game, i think White Elephant?). anyway, my coworker's boyfriend who was from the south got this pallet of pickled pig's feet, and nobody wanted it for the longest time, and then finally the other southern dude who was there took it from him... i swear they almost came to blows over who got the pickled pigs' feet.

Jackie had a bunch of jars with pickled random vegis in it. I tried the pickled garlic, as well as the other vegis, and discovered how good it is. You'd think the garlic would be extremely overpowering, but it's not.

You people need to let me know if I smell like garlic, mkay? Mustang was the person who informed me last time, when I was using too much garlic powder in my food. Now I'm eating cloves of pickled garlic, and I won't be able to tell when I start smelling like garlic. Don't be concerned about offending me, b/c smelling like garlic can many times be an improvement for me. :D haha.

If you smell like garlic due to it coming out of your pores, does that mean you would taste like salty garlic if licked?

I know they serve it in bars I have seen it. I just think if we had like a pot luck thing then some others at the bar with weak stomachs would puke.

Remember the scene in the ladies man where they are in the bar and eat 30 different pickled things eggs, testicles, pigs feet, and on and on. Man that got insane.... But great scene

You asked me at S&S one night "Why do you smell like garlic?" That informed me that I had been eating too much garlic, as I hadn't consumed any since lunch that day, but had been putting garlic powder in my lunch 5 days/week for a few weeks.

You all may just have to deal with me, b/c that pickled garlic is addictively yummy. Also, garlic could very well be an improvement on my normal smell.

Umm.... yeah I am going to have to say no on that one. I cant imagine ever saying that. I love garlic! My thing lately is parmesan cheese and garlic on popcorn. Its nummy!

Any way in the popcorn isle they have the cheese and garlic powder for it and its so freaking good.

I looked into it, and it obviously DOES increase the potency of one's waste. Foods with higher sulphur content will cause this, as it's the sulfur-containing-gases released by bacteria in your gut that give your butt burps (hahaha OMG haha) their stench. Did you know that cauliflower is on the list of foods with high sulphur levels? If anybody would like to experience the awe and wonder of "OMFG, how in the hell could I make something that smells like that?!," then I'd recommend a diet with high levels of protein and garlic. :D
