Es weird. I can feel the pressure shifting in my sinuses, so I haven't taken anything for it yet.... It's a dull achy pain, but it's weird!!!!! I can smell it too, total sinus infection. Going to rot my brains. I should go to the doc.
Crazy day too. I had the weirdest feeling when I woke up, that work wasn't going to be long. I was thinking "I should get breakfast", but something was saying "You'll be home soon enough". So I get to work and I finally make a breakthrough on a web page I was fighting with all last week! I can finally start making the changes to correct it, then my manager calls me back to talk with her.
Yeah, they laid me off. I'm on the payroll for another two weeks, so that's not a big issue, and I've already paid rent. It's so weird, I should be torn up about this, but I feel fine. My managers looked like they were going to start crying, but I just told them I understand how it is in the corporate world, yadda yadda yaddda. It was a decision from the client to minimize the position I was in, so that sucks, but oh wells!
My brother is moving this week, so it gives me the opportunity to help them out :) And I get to spend more time wiff muh kitty cat! Yay for severance pay! I can still apply internally and I probably will, but I'd like to see what else will present itself, I'm excited about this change. Just not the sinus infection that will inevitably eat my brain.
