If someone were to produce a tv show locally about electronic music, the scene, producers, dj's and so forth then what would you like to see most within the show?
What to you would be most important in what is featured or talked about?
Want music videos?
Want interviews?
Throw out your opinions!:D:feedback:

I would want the TV programs based around the music....and beauty of the seen, i.e. Glowsticking art, art from ravers, drug awareness and prevention, DJs and Promoters
I think that is a wonderful Idea and it would be very unique to do something with that and if each party was filmed (properly edited for etard moments) it would bring light to parties in the dark

It could have an adverse effect to some in the seen who enjoy its underground nature though....those who intend for the seen to stay small and somewhat "Family" like

TV Show:
I do believe that some would see the tv show as a bad thing no matter how it's done. Ya can't please everyone no matter what you do! However, if it's done right I think it can be a fantastic way for all of us into the music and energy of the scene to explore more thoroughly the many people behind making it happen.
Monitors:
Believe it or not they're Behringer's. Truth B2031A's. Best they made at the time. Got 'em cuz after picking up everything else for the studio I didn't have enough cash left for the JBL 1300's I wanted.
Figured they'd do for a few months but was totally surprised by how well they perform. I've compared them to a few others out there including low end JBL's and high end Alesis and to my surprise they sound better, thump louder and are more accurate. Not bad for a fairly cheap pair of monitors! Ran me a little over $400. Dual amps and full crossover.

Yah they are gems for sure I think Behringer is missing the mixer fight but those speakers are fucking ruthless

well if put together properly it could shine alot of light and give alot of props to the ppl behind the scene..and show "us ravers" thats its not the dj's but the producers and his crews r the engine bhind the wheel...
also it could show the "outside world" how us utahns do it..since from all ive heard there r major differences between utah ravers and ravers anywhere else...it could bring alot of good publicitie to our scene and make our scene grow....
but at the same time...i like the vibe of our scene...yes it seems like a family scene and i like it...and yeah the more ppl come to an event the more money and props producers and our scene gets but...isnt it about us as a scene and how we feel?

People that can really dance, glowstickers that are good, interviews with promoters, dj's that are really good. People who represent the scene and and inside look. Old kids who have been around forever making fun of newer ones haha. Talk about the advances and backwards movement of the scene. Expose the prostitots and make it clear on camera that the older crowd does not agree or condone thier behavior. Maybe look into some of the ravers day jobs, working by day, partying by night. That stuff is pretty interesting. Show old dj's, and ones that are learning and what it takes and all that stuff.
Show the sober ravers too, there are a lot you just have to find them.

I think it is better to be realistic and show the good and bad.

So is this like a talk show? or a sit com/drama type thing?
To be honest there is no way in hell I'd watch a talk show about raves...but that is cuz I know about raves, and their workings and what goes on and what not.
But if it was a sit-com...and actually funny...I'd prolly watch it! I donno how much of the other population would, but I would if it was entertaining enough.
and that is my honest opinion. And yeah, I think it needs to be real to life...there is not point in "fooling" the fool, and if you just make it fake and what not...even the ravers wont be interested IMO :2cents:

Lovin the input everyone! I agree Princess! It would be hella fun to find someone who litigates corporate law by day or somethin and then dyes their hair and raves at night! The day job thing and showin some up and comers are great ideas. I think putting some focus on how dj's and producers started out and got where they are would be seriously interesting!
We'd definitely wanna show all sides of the scene. The idea is to be informative and entertaining at the same time. A little something for everyone each time. Then to top it off some music videos from around the world.
Keep it all coming everyone!!:eek::eyebrows:

Well put PB!
Also, in my opinion for the TV thing, keep it mainstream, stay away from the underground scene as much as possible so it can stay that way, too much light shed on the underground may have a bad effect on it! Focus on the older crowd ravers that know how to party right! The Vicks kids sholuld be put to bed......

have you seen any of the Sensation DVDS? the usually put the theme, the megamix..and then the headliner djs...you could do something like that..but be more creative and expand on all those subjects

Hear that. Showing some of the costumes people wear to spotlight some of the creativity people have is one thing, but those who are suckin down through vicks masks would be a no no for network tv!
