View Full Version : liquid drum and bass - a short studio minimix
Hello!
I just put together a short minimix on the computer (no turntables :o) of some of my tracks that I have done over the past years and months.
Its only about 20 minutes long and has 6 tracks in it.
It is all drum and bass and all of the liquid style (sorry no deathstep!)
Let me know what you think of the tracks involved (as I know the mix is crap :D), since I only write in short bursts of a couple months then spend a year or 2 doing nothing, figure doing this might help
so again thanks in advance for any listens, hope you enjoy.

hey thanks, as I said, I definitly would love to hear any comments from people on the tracks. I know some are not so great and writing them i never get an idea even years later...
I actually have heard that makoto lp, its quite good. I personally think him, marky&bungle (mostly bungle - his LP is just as good or better than makoto's imo), danny byrd, and as always total science (or q project) are pretty much the hero's of liquid dnb for me currently and really are what I enjoy listening to and dig almost everything they do. TC especially, I dont think those guys get enough credit but almost everything they touch is gold and really has a distinctive sound and vibe to it (cant help but say I would love to copy it if I had the skill myself :D) maybe they had a bit of a dry spell for a couple years but their "mars needs total science" is one of the best liquid lps of all time for me.

You know atlantic connection is probably really top on my list, mostly though its due to the fact that he/they were basic operation before and that was probably one of my top favorite producers a couple years back, havnt kept too up to date on his newer stuff as atlantic though.... cant say i have heard enough of the others either! :)
