Does anyone know of a club that would be down to host a Rare Groove/ Funk/ Soul/ Classic RnB/ Jazz night?

Any help would be appreciated. I have been collecting this type of music for years and would like to have a cool place to play it.

Also any DJ's that play this similar style should hit me up. I think this kind of night would be really cool.

I appreciate all those genres in DnB and all other forms of music. I just think it would be cool to have strictly classic 70's funk jams for the heads to vibe on. More like a history lesson that you can have fun and dance to. Maybe learn where your favorite Hip hop sample originated from.

Think along the lines of The Meters, James Brown, Roy Ayers, Grant Green.

I know a perfect place in Ogden. The Wine Cellar!! It's got the best vibe of all the bars in ogden and that is the kind of music they play there all the time. Get a demo with that music and talk with the owner. Or meet up with me and I'll get him a demo.

I agree with the wine cellar! that's close to me so I'd show. I also like the idea of hookah lounge. I know the orange lounge hosted a rare groove disco night awhile back with Nick James and Jesse Walker and it was packed!

Its inbetween 25th and 26th on washington blvd in ogden. They are a badass club, the only problem is they are open three days a week. Its definitely the best vibe bar in town.

They are the best place in ogden for wine, unfortunatly, thats not saying much. Go check it out sometime.
