Hailing from the West burbs of Chicago, Frankie J has been at it in the underground house scene strong since 2005. Under the moniker of famed The Sound Republic alongside partner John Mork, Frankie J made waves in the international house music scene with a gang of releases and remixes on labels such as Guesthouse, Aroma, Drop Music, as well as his own white hot record label Spatula City Records out of Chicago. Touring all over the states and abroad, The Sound Republic had made their mark and changed house music with their unique sound and djing style.

Now solo, Frankie J has been pushing hard at building his solo career whilst heading up Spatula City Records and brand new sister label Flapjack Records. Touring fiercely, Frankie still finds the time to manage both labels, knock out remix after remix, original productions, and dj on his Flapjack Radio show which airs every Monday evening from 9pm – 10pm CST on www.chicagohousefm.com.
