Lots of seating, private booths, good sound, lights! The staff is very professional, oh oh and the club is clean too!! Really something that needs to be checked out. I would really like to see some sick parties up here with good local talent. If you go there you will know what im talking about!!

It's Metro 'Here for the Love' (Bassex)

Bassex Records was the creation of Michael Knapp, aka Xpando.
The beast that was Bassex was spawned from the desire to put LA on the map as a world class underground dance music city. The energy and scope of the parties in LA were so great back in the early 90's that Michael had to translate this into positive musical output.
The Bassex triad consisted of Xpando, Jason Blakemore (aka DJ Trance) and DJ Eric Davenport. All three have roots firmly planted in the parties and raves of the late 80s and early 90s. Xpando's first live techno performance was at Psychedelic Evolution in '92. He was one of the first to ever do this in LA and has tried to keep the challenge going by being one of the first to start a truly underground dance label in the city. And it worked. Many of the Bassex releases became underground classics.
And to this day Bassex is still regarded as an almost cult label with much of its catalogue selling for higher than usual prices.
Label has been on hiatus, but may reapear soon.

Any dj's playing an upcoming date, here is some info to help out!

Equipment:
2 tec 1200's
1 Pioneer CDJ
Rane TTM 57SL mixer

We have the Rane TTM 57SL Mixer with serato built in, but you have to have the driver for the mixer installed on your laptop for it to work correctly, and to install it if you have never used your serato with this mixer, you have to connect your computer to the mixer and then install the driver(we have the install cd at the club)
Or just bring your music on a usb flash drive and use my laptop.

If you have tractor, torq or any other serato alternative, is is possible to use them, but i would prefer you just bring a flash drive and use my serato.

It's a pain to have to keep changing out boxes between set's.

This week rocked, with killer sets by Nick Bliss, Scott Evol, & Marc Linton. It will only get better from here because this club is the:boom:

I am curious about this place, a few years a ago there was a place supposed to open in Provo with the exact same name, "The Vault" it was at the bottom floor of a wells fargo building. They had a website, a weekly schedule, posters to promote the club and that said "now hiring" I saw the club being worked on, under construction etc. Then it just never opened, I have always wondered what happened with it. Now suddenly like 3 years later a place with the same name opens up in Ogden???

The last 3 weeks pulled a ok/weak crowd rockin stictly electronic, and a bunch of the heads that came wanted hip hop, so the owner wanted to appeal to who's payin' the bills and play more hip hop.

I was doing tuesdays and had a nice following(50-80 heads a week) so they switched us to saturdays, but the problem is a higher cover charge, it's competing with all the big events, and seduction sat @ bricks.

So the plan is, I will be taking over either wednesday, or thursday with strictly underground electronic, and we will do EDM EVENTS BI-Monthly on saturdays,

I think the most ive ever seen there at one time was 5. even at OZ the prostitiot to clothed girl ratio was not near what an event in salt lake brings.

Believe me... Im all about UNDERGROUND, but the scene has evolved and you either except it or sit in your basement talking about how good it used to be.
